Privacy & storage
How your details are used when you contact The House of Freya, and how your saved pieces work.
Who to contact
The House of Freya uses the details you provide to respond to Renata’s business enquiries. For privacy questions or a rights request, email thehouseoffreya@gmail.com.
Information you choose to share
The enquiry forms collect your name, email address, message, any design preferences and the product selections in your basket. Do not include card details or sensitive personal information. Form submissions are handled and stored by Netlify, the website hosting and form-processing service. Email and telephone enquiries are handled through the business’s existing services.
Why the information is used
Details are used to respond to your request, discuss products or a commission, and manage necessary follow-up. This is based on steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, or the legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Storage and providers
Enquiry records are kept while needed to deal with your request, resolve follow-up or meet applicable obligations. Access should be limited to the people handling the enquiry. Hosting and communication providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data-protection arrangements. For Netlify’s information, see its privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, request portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact Renata using the email above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
Your basket and favourites
Your basket and favourites are stored in your browser only when you use these features. They are not an account and do not sync across devices. This storefront does not add advertising or analytics trackers. External websites such as Facebook have their own policies after you choose to visit them.
Payments and automated decisions
The current storefront does not collect payment details, run credit checks or make decisions with legal effects using automated profiling. This notice will need to be updated if payment or marketing services are added.
